Shannon is a Limited Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a degree from Eastern Michigan University, class of 2023. Since 2013, under the supervision of a fully licensed clinical social worker, Shannon has specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy for individuals diagnosed with Hoarding Disorder and has worked in the mental health field since 2015. Shannon also works with Washtenaw County’s homeless population, assisting clients with severe mental health disorders to stabilize and develop the skills necessary for success once housing is secured.

Shannon’s expertise includes working with clients who have bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, co-occurring disorders (dual diagnosis), schizophrenia, and those in need of crisis intervention. Shannon is especially passionate about helping clients with hoarding disorder by providing in-home support to achieve healthier living conditions and develop coping skills to address the trauma often underlying this diagnosis.
